AI Workspace legal
Terms of Service
Last updated July 5, 2026
These Terms apply to AI Workspace, a Chrome browser extension that helps you save prompts, organize AI chats, reuse context, export content, and use AI-assisted refine and create tools.
Please read these Terms carefully. By installing, accessing, or using AI Workspace, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the extension.
1. Contact
For support, billing questions, refund requests, account help, or legal notices, contact support@aiworkspaceextension.com.
2. Privacy
Your use of AI Workspace is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information the extension processes, stores, sends to service providers, and keeps locally on your device.
3. What AI Workspace does
AI Workspace provides tools for:
- Saving and organizing prompts, prompt templates, saved chats, snippets, and context files.
- Inserting saved prompts or context into supported AI sites.
- Exporting content to destinations such as Markdown, JSON, Notion, NotebookLM, and Obsidian.
- Using AI-assisted features such as prompt refinement, prompt creation, and question generation.
- Signing in so purchases, AI credits, and eligible sync features can be connected to your account.
Some features are local-only. Others require internet access, a signed-in account, a paid entitlement, available AI credits, or access to a third-party service.
4. Accounts and sign-in
You may use some features without signing in. Certain features require sign-in through a supported method such as Google sign-in or an email one-time code.
You are responsible for:
- Keeping access to your email or Google account secure.
- Making sure the email used for checkout is correct.
- Not sharing account access in a way that violates these Terms.
- Contacting support if you believe an account or purchase was linked incorrectly.
If you purchase Lifetime Workspace outside the signed-in extension flow, AI Workspace may require a valid licence key or other verification before attaching the purchase to an account.
5. Local content and your responsibility
AI Workspace is local-first. Saved prompts, chats, snippets, context files, local folders, imports, and exports may be stored in your browser profile or on your device unless you choose to sync eligible content, export it, or send it to another service.
You are responsible for:
- The content you save, import, paste, generate, attach, or export.
- Making backups of important local information.
- Checking content before sending it to an AI site or third-party destination.
- Ensuring you have the right to use, process, copy, or export content you provide.
AI Workspace is not responsible for loss of local browser data caused by profile deletion, extension removal, device loss, storage corruption, browser bugs, operating-system issues, or third-party software.
6. AI features and AI credits
AI-assisted features may use AI models or related providers to process prompts and return generated content. AI output may be incomplete, incorrect, outdated, offensive, or unsuitable for your intended use.
You are responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on it. Do not use AI Workspace as a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, safety, or other expert advice.
AI credits are used for eligible AI-assisted actions. Guest users, signed-in accounts, and Lifetime Workspace purchases may receive one-time credit grants, and additional credit packs may be offered as one-time purchases.
AI credits:
- Are not money, stored value, cryptocurrency, gift cards, or cash equivalents.
- Cannot be redeemed for cash and are non-transferable unless explicitly supported.
- May be reserved before an action and committed after success.
- May be restored when an action fails and the system can reliably detect that failure.
- May be reversed when a purchase is refunded, charged back, disputed, fraudulent, or applied in error.
If a reversed purchase has already been used, AI Workspace may reduce future credit grants or place the account in a credit-debt state until the reversed amount is offset.
7. Free plan and limits
AI Workspace may provide a free plan with local features and limited server-gated features. Limits may apply to AI credits, context inserts, exports, folders, saved chats, snippets, or other higher-value features.
Free limits may be tracked by browser installation, anonymous instance ID, signed-in account, or a combination of these. Signing in does not reset all limits. We may change free limits, trial credits, or feature availability to prevent abuse, protect reliability, manage AI costs, or improve the product.
8. Lifetime Workspace
Lifetime Workspace is a one-time paid entitlement for eligible workspace features. It may include Prompt Library Sync, higher or unlimited workspace limits, external export and resync features, direct or bulk workflows, and a one-time AI credit bonus.
It means the lifetime of the AI Workspace product and service as operated and supported—not the lifetime of an individual user, device, third-party service, AI model, platform, or payment provider.
Lifetime Workspace does not include unlimited AI usage. AI-assisted features may still require credits unless clearly stated otherwise.
Lifetime Workspace may be changed, suspended, or discontinued if required by law, platform rules, provider changes, security issues, abuse prevention, or discontinuation of the product. If a material paid feature is discontinued, AI Workspace will try to provide a reasonable alternative, workaround, or remedy where required by applicable law.
9. Purchases, payments, and taxes
AI Workspace may sell Lifetime Workspace and AI credit packs as one-time purchases. Payments may be processed by Dodo Payments, which may collect payment details, billing information, tax information, and other information required to complete a purchase.
Prices, taxes, discounts, currency, and included benefits are shown at checkout or in the extension when you purchase. Checkout terms shown by the payment provider may also apply.
You agree not to submit false payment information, abuse promotions, attempt unauthorized chargebacks, or use purchases in a way that violates these Terms.
10. Refunds and reversals
For refund requests, contact support@aiworkspaceextension.com.
Eligibility may depend on applicable law, payment-provider rules, checkout terms, the product purchased, account status, usage, and fraud or abuse signals.
If a purchase is refunded, reversed, charged back, disputed, voided, or found fraudulent:
- Lifetime Workspace may be removed from the account.
- Included or purchased AI credits may be removed.
- Already-spent credits may be offset against future credits.
- Access to paid sync or export features may be disabled.
Refunds are not guaranteed except where required by law or the applicable payment-provider policy.
11. Third-party services
AI Workspace may interact with third-party services, websites, APIs, payment providers, authentication providers, AI providers, and export destinations, including Chrome Web Store, Google, Supabase, Dodo Payments, Notion, NotebookLM, Obsidian, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Grok.
AI Workspace is not owned by, endorsed by, or affiliated with those services unless explicitly stated. Your use of them is governed by their own terms, privacy policies, rate limits, account rules, and availability. AI Workspace is not responsible for their outages, changes, data handling, moderation, account restrictions, API limits, pricing, or generated output.
12. Acceptable use
You agree not to use AI Workspace to:
- Violate law, regulation, third-party rights, or platform rules.
- Generate, store, export, or distribute illegal, harmful, abusive, deceptive, infringing, or exploitative content.
- Harass, threaten, impersonate, defraud, or mislead others.
- Process content you do not have the right to use.
- Circumvent feature limits, payments, credit accounting, security controls, or access restrictions.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, attack, overload, or interfere with AI Workspace or its services.
- Use automation or bulk activity in a way that harms reliability or unreasonably increases costs.
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit access without written permission.
AI Workspace may limit, suspend, or terminate access for abuse, fraud, security risk, legal compliance, or violation of these Terms.
13. Intellectual property
AI Workspace—including its software, design, branding, icons, interface, documentation, and related materials—is owned by its developer or licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws.
You retain rights to content you create, save, import, or export, subject to third-party rights and the terms of services you use with that content. These Terms do not give you ownership of AI Workspace or permission to copy, modify, redistribute, sell, or create derivative works from the extension except as allowed by law or written permission.
14. Updates and changes
AI Workspace may be updated to add, modify, or remove features, improve security, fix bugs, change limits, update pricing surfaces, or comply with platform and legal requirements. Some updates may be required for continued use, and older versions may stop working when services, APIs, payment flows, authentication, or security requirements change.
15. Availability and support
AI Workspace is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. It may be unavailable, interrupted, delayed, or limited because of maintenance, browser changes, third-party outages, AI-provider issues, payment-provider issues, security events, network issues, or other causes.
Support is provided through the email above. No specific response time is guaranteed unless separately agreed in writing.
16. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent allowed by law, AI Workspace disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and reliability.
AI Workspace does not guarantee that the extension will always work without errors; local information will never be lost; AI output will be accurate or safe; third-party services will remain available; paid features will remain unchanged forever; or exports and sync will always succeed.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
17. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, AI Workspace and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, lost business, service interruption, or loss of goodwill.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, total liability for any claim related to AI Workspace or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid for AI Workspace in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50 if you paid nothing.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations, so some limitations may not apply to you.
18. Termination
You may stop using AI Workspace at any time by uninstalling it or discontinuing use. AI Workspace may suspend or terminate access to online features, accounts, purchases, credits, sync, or support if you violate these Terms; a payment is reversed or fraudulent; continued access creates a security, legal, financial, or operational risk; or a third-party service, platform rule, or law requires restriction.
Termination may not automatically delete content stored in your browser profile. You may need to remove local extension information through browser settings.
19. Changes to these Terms
AI Workspace may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted publicly with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may receive additional notice where practical, such as through the extension, website, or support channel.
Your continued use after updated Terms become effective means you accept them.
20. Governing law and consumer rights
These Terms will be interpreted under applicable law without limiting mandatory consumer-protection rights. If the law in your location gives you rights that cannot be waived by contract, nothing in these Terms limits those rights.
21. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any checkout terms shown at purchase, form the agreement between you and AI Workspace for use of the extension.
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts remain in effect.
